How to submit your Abstract?

*All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings that will be available in the Journal of Asia Pacific Aesthetic Sciences (JAPA), https://www.japa-edu.org/

Instructions for Submission of a POSTER Abstract


  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Name(s) of author(s), institution(s), and country of author(s) should be included in the abstract.
  • The abstract should include the following:

Background:  Indicating the objective(s) & research question.

Method: Explanation of the study design.

Results and Discussion: Summarized essential results of completed analysis.

Conclusion: Supported by the findings of your results.

Keywords: Not more than 5.

  • Topics should be relevant to the conference theme and the themes are:

Wellness

Cosmetic

Dermatology

Regenerative medicine

Pharmaceuticals

  • Word count should not exceed 300 words. The title and author(s) details are excluded from this word count. Please use font style Times New Roman and font size 11.
  • Kindly ensure that the following are agreed upon by all authors BEFORE submitting the abstract: 

Aware that their names will appear on the abstract.

All authors agree to the submission and presentation of the results.

Understand that all possible patent and copyright issues are resolved before submission.

  • Certificates will only be issued to the registered presenting author, provided they have presented the abstract at the conference.
  • Only one presenter is allowed per abstract and ONLY ONE submission is allowed per presenter.
  • Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and if accepted, the authors will be informed.
  • The presenter must register and pay the full registration fee by the stipulated due date. Otherwise, the abstract will be excluded from the program book and they will not be permitted to present their work at the conference.
  • Posters should be presented in A1 (594 x 841 mm) size in portrait orientation.
  • Presentation is conducted through pre-recorded video presentation.
  • There will be judging for the best 3 poster presentations.
  • Submission of soft-copy poster and video recording of presentation by 1st October 2026.

Poster Preparation Guidelines

  1. Posters should be printed in A1 (594 x 841 mm) size in portrait orientation.
  2. Printed posters should be submitted during registration on the first day of conference (30th October 2026) to committee.
  3. You can create your poster using PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Canvas, or any other appropriate program.


Pre-recorded Presentations Guidelines

  1. File format: mp4
  2. Duration: Maximum 3 minutes
  3. Size ration: 16:9 (Landscape)
  4. Content suggestions:
  5. Starts with a brief introduction of your research
  6. Highlight key objectives and methodologies
  7. Summarize significant results and their impact
  8. End with a concise conclusion
  9. File naming: ACOS_[Full Name]_[Abstract Title]
  10. Submission by 1st October 2026
